The diagnostic unit for the functioning of the main vehicle systems at the moment the ignition is turned on, as well as during the movement of the vehicle, continuously monitors certain functions and the technical condition of the vehicle systems.

The system notifies of any failures or the need for urgent repair or maintenance work with an audible signal, accompanied by the display of functional symbols on the instrument panel, which, depending on the level of priority, can be red or yellow.

Along with devices that perform control functions, the diagnostic unit has a speed limit exceeding indicator. In addition, the display shows information about the received radio station and its frequency, as well as the operating mode of the radio receiver.

Symbols of a prohibiting or warning nature are displayed on the display.

Symbols in red (prohibitive). First degree of priority

Symbols in red (prohibitive). First degree of priority

When a flashing red symbol appears, three consecutive warning sounds are heard. You should stop, turn off the engine, check the failed system and fix the problem. You may need qualified assistance.

If several first-priority failures occur at once, the symbols appear on the display sequentially, one after another, with each display lasting 2 seconds. The symbols continue to flash until the fault is eliminated.

Yellow symbols (warning). Second degree of priority

Yellow symbols (warning). Second degree of priority

When a yellow symbol appears, an acoustic warning signal sounds. The measures corresponding to the symbols must be taken immediately. To indicate several different warnings, the symbols appear in sequence, each of which is visible for about two seconds.

If functional disturbances of both priority levels occur simultaneously, the indication of the yellow symbols is suppressed until the cause of the failure indicated by the red symbol is eliminated.
