The system notifies of emerging failures or the need for urgent repair or service work with an audible signal, accompanied by the display of functional symbols on the instrument panel display, which, depending on the degree of priority, can be red or yellow.
Along with devices that perform control functions, the diagnostic unit has a signaling device for exceeding the set speed. In addition, the display shows information about the received radio station and its frequency, as well as the operating mode of the radio receiver.
The display shows prohibition or warning symbols.
Symbols in red (forbidding). First degree of priority
When a flashing red symbol appears, three warning sounds follow one after the other. You should stop, turn off the engine, check the failed system and fix the problem. You may need qualified help to do this.
If several failures of the first degree of priority occur at once, the symbols appear on the display sequentially, one after another, with an indication duration of each of them for 2 seconds. The flashing of the symbols continues until the fault is corrected.
Yellow symbols (warning). Second priority
When the yellow symbol appears, an acoustic warning signal is given. Measures corresponding to the symbols should be taken immediately. To indicate multiple dissimilar warnings, the symbols appear in sequence, each visible for about two seconds.
If functional violations of both priority levels occur simultaneously, the indication of yellow symbols is suppressed until the cause of the failure indicated by the red symbol is eliminated.
