Maintenance of drive shafts (Audi 80 B3)

Perform the following procedure at the frequency given in "Technical maintenance" at the beginning of the guide.

Checking the rubber boots of the CV joint

1. Apply the parking brake. Jack up the front of the car and support it on axle stands.

2. By turning the drive shafts manually, check the condition of the CV joint rubber boots.

3. Check the reliability of the fastening of the clamping brackets of the covers.
