Service brake system with hydraulic drive, consisting of two independent braking circuits of the front and rear wheels, divided diagonally (left front-right rear, right front-left rear). If one of the circuits of the working brake system fails, the braking efficiency of the front and rear wheels is halved. The hydraulic drive includes a vacuum booster and a brake pressure regulator depending on the load on the rear axle.
Front service disc brakes (from model year 1985 ventilated), rear - drum. The parking brake system with a mechanical drive acts on the rear wheels.
