Installation
Install in reverse order; note the following: Inlet camshaft sprocket with camshaft adjuster and exhaust camshaft sprocket are secured with locking pins -T10074-.
Fit the timing belt for the associated drive first onto the intake camshaft sprocket and then onto the exhaust camshaft sprocket. The loose part of the toothed belt must be at the bottom. Observe the designation of the running direction of the previously used belt. Insert the hexagon socket wrench into the hexagon socket and turn the tensioning roller clockwise towards the indicator window -arrow-. The tension roller is in a loose position. Press the lower part of the toothed belt of the associated drive up with the tension roller and tighten the tension roller bolt by hand. The protrusion of the base plate must fit into the hole in the cylinder head.
