Toothed Belt Drive — Design Description (Audi A2)

Toothed belt drive:
1. Bolt. Replace, 12 Nm
2. Lower timing belt cover
3. Bolt
4. Rear timing belt cover
5. Bolt, 10 Nm
6. Bolt, 50 Nm
7. Roller for main drive toothed belt
8. Locking bolt, 25 Nm
9. Sealing ring. Replace if damaged
10. Upper timing belt cover
I. Bolt. Screw with left-hand thread!
12. Main drive toothed belt, check the degree of wear, do not bend, before removing mark the direction of travel with chalk or a felt-tip pen
13. Washer
14. Intake camshaft gear with valve timing adjuster, do not disassemble
15. Washer. Not present for new designs, if the disc was installed it must be replaced and reinstalled
16. Toothed belt for the coupled drive, check the degree of wear, do not bend, before removing mark the direction of travel with chalk or a felt-tip pen
17. Timing Belt Tensioner Roller for Coupled Drive
18. Exhaust camshaft gear
19. Bolt
20. Bolt, 20 Nm
21. Cooling system pump
22. Roller for main drive toothed belt
23. Bolt, 50 Nm
24. Crankshaft toothed belt sprocket. There should be no oil on the mating surfaces between the toothed belt drive sprocket and the crankshaft. Installation is only possible in one position, remove after dismantling the toothed belt for the main drive
25. Tension roller for the main drive toothed belt
26. Bolt, 20 Nm
