Removal
Remove the soundproofing casing by loosening the fasteners.
Caution! Risk of destruction if a used poly V-belt is rotated in the opposite direction. Before removing the poly V-belt, mark the direction of rotation on it with chalk or a felt-tip pen.
To loosen the poly V-belt, turn the tensioner with a ring spanner clockwise "arrow". Secure the poly V-belt tensioner with the locking pin "T10060 A" and remove the poly V-belt.
Installation
Installation is in reverse order, taking into account the following:
Poly V-belt travel in cars with air conditioning:
1. Crankshaft Belt Pulley
2. Tension element
3. Generator
4. Air conditioning compressor
5. Poly V-belt
Turn the tensioner slightly with a ring spanner clockwise "arrow" and remove the locking pin "T10060 A". Check the correct installation of the poly V-belt. Start the engine and check the correct running of the poly V-belt.
