Removal

Gearbox removed. Remove dual mass flywheel. Remove intermediate sheet of sealing flange and centering bushings "arrows".

Loosen bolts "1...8". Remove the sealing flange from the gearbox side.
Installation
Carefully remove any remaining sealant from the cylinder block and oil pan. Clean the sealing surfaces; there should be no traces of oil or grease on them.
Cut off the tube tip along the front mark (hole diameter about 2mm). Apply a thin bead of "arrow" sealant to each mating surface between the cylinder block and the oil pan.

Apply a thin layer of sealant to the lower sealing surface of the "hatched" sealing flange. The flange with the seal must be installed within 5 minutes after applying the sealant.

Place sealing flange "2" on the crankshaft together with guide sleeve "1" (inserted into the spare part). Then carefully push the sealing flange onto the cylinder block centering bushings.

Tighten the bolts in the following sequence: bolts "1...6", then "7" and "8".

Installation in reverse order, taking into account the following: install the intermediate sheet of the sealing flange and place it on the centering bushings. Install the dual mass flywheel. Tightening torque: Sealing flange to cylinder block: 15 Nm.
