Before installing the cuff puller, screw the central bolt of the toothed belt sprocket into the crankshaft until it stops.

Unscrew the inner part of the cuff puller "3203" 8 turns from the outer part and secure with a knurled bolt.

Lubricate the threaded head of the cuff puller with oil, install it and, pressing hard on it, screw the "arrow" as deeply as possible into the cuff. Loosen the knurled bolt with the head and turn the inner part of the puller against the direction of rotation of the crankshaft until the cuff is pulled out. Clamp the cuff puller by the flat edges in a vice. Remove the cuff with pliers. Clean the working and sealing surfaces. Do not lubricate the working edge of the seal or the outer edge of the cuff with oil. Install the guide sleeve "T10053/1" on the crankshaft journal. Slide the cuff along the guide sleeve.

Press the cuff with the central bolt of the toothed belt sprocket and the pressure sleeve from "T10053" flush.
Instructions: Replace the timing belt sprocket bolt. There should be no oil on the mating surfaces between the timing belt sprocket and the crankshaft. Do not additionally lubricate the crankshaft gear bolt.

Tighten the crankshaft timing belt sprocket using the support key "3415". Install the timing belt (adjust valve timing): toothed belt drive with hydraulically damped tension roller, toothed belt drive with friction-damped tension roller. Install the poly V-belt.
Tightening torque:
- Timing belt drive sprocket to crankshaft: 120 Nm + 90° 1)
1) Replace the bolt.
