Front module "J255"



1. Turn off the ignition.

2. Remove the central deflectors assembly (And in the illustration).

The deflector assembly is held in place by clips (D and E). Insert hooks #3438 (B) into the holes (C) of the deflector as shown and pull out the deflector assembly. Remove the CD changer (F) or storage compartment.

3. Using two small screwdrivers (1 in the illustration) release the two upper fasteners (C) through the slots (D).

Then carefully slide the module (B) out of the center console to gain access to its connectors.

4. Release the connector latches (D in the illustration), pressing on the retaining tabs (F) and disconnect the connector.

Wait 30 seconds to protect the module's electronics, and then disconnect the connector (E). Disconnect the connectors (A-C) by pressing on their latches (F).

Note: The "Basic" module does not have connectors (A and C), and models without heated seats do not have connector (E).


5. Installation is carried out in reverse order.

6. Turn off the ignition and remove the central rear deflectors.

7. Through the opening (And in the illustration) carefully slide the module (B) out of the center console to gain access to its connectors.

Note: The module is held in place by clips (C) at the top and bottom.


Release the connector locks (E and G) by pressing the retaining tabs (D) and disconnect the connectors. On models with heated rear seats, additionally disconnect the corresponding connectors.



8. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
