The following describes how to remove the side trim of the trunk with the rear seat in place.
Removal
Remove the floor mat from your luggage.
Remove the rear protective trim.
Remove two screws 7 (fig. 12.96) from mounting socket 8.
Push out two clamps 5 (fig. 12.96).
Remove clamps 3 and 4 (fig. 12.96).
Remove lid 2 (fig. 12.96). To do this, press the handle from below. Remove the upholstery 1 from the lower openings 6 and pull it out of the clamps 9 with an upward movement.
Pull the trim out from behind the rear wall trim and remove it from the trunk.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
