Removal
1. Remove the oil pan.
2. Disconnect the oil intake pipe from the oil pump.
3. Remove the bolts and remove the oil pump.
4. Remove the pump cover.
Examination
1. Inspect the pump parts for wear and damage.
2. Using a feeler gauge, measure the clearance between the pump gears and the axial clearance of the pump.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
