Removal and installation the battery (Audi A6 C4)

The battery is located on the left side of the engine compartment or under the rear seat.

Removal

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable and then the positive battery cable.

2. Loosen the bolt and remove the battery retaining clamp.

3. Remove the battery from the vehicle.

Installation

Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
