Removal
1. The valve is installed in the vacuum hose and is not replaced separately. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the vacuum booster.
2. Remove the hose from its mountings and disconnect it from the intake manifold/vacuum pump. Remove the hose from the vehicle.
Examination
Inspect the hose for damage and replace it if necessary. Check that air flows through the valve in one direction only.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
