Removal



The clutch slave cylinder is removed together with the pipe and hose line.

Caution! Risk of damage to electronic components when disconnecting the battery. Carefully monitor the process of removing the battery. Disconnect the ground cable from the battery. Remove the hydraulic control unit.


Move the sliding part "A" on the mounting plate "in the direction of the arrow". Remove the pipe-hose line "1" from the mounting plate. Press the pipe-hose line out of the bracket "B". Close the open lines and branches with clean plugs from the plug set for the engine "VAS 6122".

Hang the wire clip in the place marked with the "arrow" and remove the clutch slave cylinder from the stop "A". Ignore pos. "B".



Unscrew the pipe and hose line from the clutch slave cylinder.

Installation



Installation is in reverse order, replacing the sealing rings, taking into account the different diameters. The clutch slave cylinder is installed together with the pipe-hose line.

Insert the pipe and hose line "1" into the central hole on the mounting plate. To fix the pipe and hose line "1", bring the sliding part "A" to the central position. The recess on the sliding part and the hole in the mounting plate "arrow" must coincide. Insert the clutch slave cylinder into the stop "A". Fix the clutch slave cylinder with a wire clamp "arrow". Hang the clutch rod "B" on the clutch release lever, if necessary, unscrew the lock nut at the end of the clutch rod. Install the hydraulic control unit. Check the oil level in the hydraulic system and add oil. Adjust the free play of the clutch.
