Instruction. A hose -arrow 1- connects the hydraulic clutch system to the chambers -arrow 2- of the brake fluid reservoir. If there is no or very little brake fluid in this chamber, the system may be leaking.
Then check the following parts of the hydraulic clutch actuator for external leaks: hose between the brake fluid reservoir and the master cylinder, master cylinder, pipe-hose line between the master and slave cylinders, connections (plug and threaded) in all places, including hidden ones, the working cylinder.
Instruction. Signs of external leakage are, among other things, traces of brake fluid on or under the gearbox, as well as on the noise insulation under the gearbox. Check the correct location of the pipe-hose line between the main and working cylinders. The line must not be bent or pinched.
Then carefully depress the clutch pedal, holding the pedal for 20 seconds in five different positions of the pedal stroke. At the same time, the second mechanic checks the elements of the hydraulic clutch drive. The first mechanic simultaneously monitors whether the pedal spontaneously falls when held. Remove the slave cylinder from the gearbox last. Without disconnecting the line system, check the seal for brake fluid leakage. To do this, do not remove oil seal from pusher -arrow-.
