Removal



Remove the hood. If available, loosen the bracket. Remove the engine cover. Remove the sound insulation underneath. Drain the coolant.

Insert the regulator "3" with a new O-ring "2" into the connecting nipple "1". For installation, the thermostat bracket must be positioned horizontally, as shown in the figure.



Lubricate the sealing ring «2» with concentrate «G12+». Turn the thermostat counterclockwise…

Tightening torques:
  • Connecting nipple to cylinder block: 15 Nm
  • Engine compartment cover to bracket: 5.5 Nm
