Removal
Drain the coolant. Remove the toothed belt: toothed belt drive with hydraulically damped tension roller, toothed belt drive with friction-damped tension roller.
Unscrew bolts "1" and remove coolant pump "2". Remove sealing ring "3".
Installation
Installation in reverse order, in this case it is necessary to replace the seal, O-ring. Clean or treat the sealing surface under the seal. ring. Lubricate the new seal. ring "3" with concentrate "G12+". Install the coolant pump "2". Installation position: the threaded plug of the housing faces down. Install the toothed belt (adjust valve timing): toothed belt drive with hydraulically damped tension roller, toothed belt drive with friction-damped tension roller. Fill with coolant. Tightening torque: Coolant pump to cylinder block: 15 Nm.
