Removal
Remove the hood. If available, loosen the bracket. Remove the engine cover "arrows".
Remove the dipstick from the guide tube. Remove the dipstick guide tube "1". Ignore pos. "2".
Disconnect plug connector "3" of radiator fan control unit "J293". Loosen bolt "2" and remove radiator fan control unit "J293". Loosen lock bolt "1". Turn lock ring "in direction of arrow" and remove radiator fan "V7" together with lock ring.
Installation
Installation in reverse order.
Tightening torques:
- Radiator fan retaining bolt "V7" to radiator frame: 5 Nm
- Used radiator fan "3293" to radiator frame: 5 Nm
- Engine compartment cover to bracket: 5.5 Nm
