Cooling pump, thermostat, 4/2 way valve with thermostat. I 1. Bolt, 15 Nm; 2. Coolant pump; 3/4. Seal ring, replace; 5. 4/2-way valve with thermostat, depending on the version, the thermostat is located inside the 4/2-way valve and cannot be replaced separately; 6. Bolt, 15 Nm; 7. Connecting pipe, depending on the version; 8. Thermostat, installed only in version with connecting pipes -7-
Removing the 4/2-way valve with thermostat
The thermostat is located inside the 4/2 way valve and is not separately replaceable. Remove engine cover -arrows-. Release hose clamps -arrows- and remove air duct hose.
Disconnect el. connector -2-. Unscrew the nut -1- and place the bracket with the connector aside. Drain the coolant.
Remove coolant hoses from connections -A, B and D-. Unscrew the bolt -2 using the XZN 8 wrench -T10445-. Unscrew bolts -1-. Remove the valve from the cylinder block and remove the coolant pipe fitting -C- towards the left.
Install
Install in reverse order. Replace seal. ring.
