Removal



Version complete with insert: remove the center console insert. Version complete with multimedia system control panel: remove the "E380" multimedia system control panel. Remove the front ashtray. Version complete with 12V sockets: disconnect plug connectors "2". Unscrew bolts "1" and "3".

Option kit with front middle armrest: remove front armrest. Option kit without front armrest: remove rear trim of center console and unscrew nuts "1".

If available, disconnect the AUX output connector.



Option complete with telephone/mobile telephone: Disconnect the electrical connector. Lift the central console, pull it out of the dashboard towards the rear and remove it above the automatic transmission control lever/gear shift lever.

Installation



Remove the center console. Carefully squeeze the clamps "arrows" and push the trim "1" out of the console "2". Disconnect the plug connectors and remove the trim.

Installation in reverse order.

Installation is in reverse order: make sure that the center console fits snugly against the dashboard.

Remove the center console. Turn the center console. Unscrew screws "1...8" and remove the decorative trim "9" of the center console.



Installation



Installation is in reverse order, taking into account that the bolts should be tightened in the sequence "1...8".

Press hook "2" into fastening "1" of bag hook "arrow A". Turn hook counterclockwise until it stops "arrow B" and remove.

Remove the pocket hooks. Unscrew the bolts "4" and remove the bag hook mount "1". Carefully separate the center console "3" from the side of the center tunnel wall and remove the counter support "2" on the back of the center console.

Remove the center console. Carefully squeeze the clamps "arrows" and push the trim "1" out of the console "2". Disconnect the plug connectors and remove the trim.

Remove the central console. Option complete with antenna of the access control system and engine start right: remove antenna 1 in the passenger compartment of the vehicle of the access control system and engine start right "R138". Unscrew nuts "3" and "4". Unfasten bracket "5" from trims "1" and "2" and remove.

Installation in reverse order.
