Notes: Before screwing in the fittings, a thin layer of grease G 052 150 A2 must be applied to the thread.
Parts of the body of the caliper bracket are bolted to the internal shaped recess and cannot be disassembled. If the protective covers of the guide pins are damaged, they must be replaced with new ones.

Clean the caliper (pic. 15–26) from dust and dirt, while using respiratory protection.
On one side of the caliper, install a special tool for pressing the piston, which will hold the pistons opposite each other in place, and on the other side, install a clamp that fixes the piston in the cylinder. Place a block of wood between the clamp and the remaining piston.
Remove the piston from the caliper by supplying low pressure air to the brake cylinder through the brake hose connection hole.
Pic. 15–27. Using a wedge to remove the outer seal from the caliper cylinder groove
Remove the wooden block and carefully remove the piston. Carefully, so as not to damage the cylinder walls, remove the outer seal from the caliper cylinder groove using a wedge or a flathead screwdriver blade as a lever (pic. 15–27).
Pic. 15–28. Using a wedge to remove the inner seal from the caliper cylinder groove
Remove the inner seal from the caliper cylinder groove in the same way (pic. 15–28).
Check the condition of the cylinder and piston. If there are scratches, scratches, wear or pitting, the piston and cylinder must be replaced. Regardless of condition, replace all rubber seals.
Wash all parts in methanol or clean brake fluid and wipe dry.
Apply a thin layer of grease G 052 150 A2 to the O-ring and piston (see fig. 15–28).
Pic. 15–29. Arrangement of sealing rings and piston: 1 – external sealing ring; 2 - piston; 3 - inner sealing ring
Install the inner and outer o-rings on the piston (pic. 15–29).
Press the piston into the caliper cylinder with your fingers.
Using a piston press tool and special tool 3350/2, press the outer seal and press it 44 mm into the caliper bracket housing.
Similarly, replace the remaining pistons in the caliper.
