Removal and installation axle shafts (Audi A6 C4)

Removal

1. Loosen the axle shaft mounting nut.

2. Remove the wheel. Loosen and remove the axle shaft mounting nut.

3. Remove the bolts securing the inner joint to the gearbox flange.



4. Move the hub to the side and remove the axle shaft.

Installation

1. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. Tighten the hub mounting nut to the required tightening torque of stage 1.



2. Turn to the required angle.
