Cooling Fan Temperature Switch
Examination
Look subsection 4.6.
Removal
1. Partially drain the coolant.
2. Disconnect the switch connection connector and unscrew the switch.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Coolant Temperature Sensor/Warning Light Switch
Both sensors are installed in one module.
Identifying the Coolant Temperature Sensor/Warning Light Sensor Terminals (3-pin connection connector)

- 1. Signal lamp terminal
- 2. "Ground" terminal
- 3. Temperature sensor terminal
Identifying the Coolant Temperature Sensor/Warning Light Sensor Terminals (4-pin connection connector)

- + - power terminal
- C - signal lamp terminal
- R - air conditioner terminal
- T - temperature sensor terminal
Examination
Check the power supply and grounding of the sensors. Check the resistance of the sensors at different coolant temperatures. If the sensors are faulty, they must be replaced.
Removal
1. Partially drain the coolant.
2. Disconnect the sensor connection connector.
3. Unscrew or remove the sensors and remove the sealing ring.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Fuel injection system temperature sensor
If the sensor fails, the fuel injection system warning light on the instrument panel should light up. To check the sensor, you need to contact specialists.
Removal
1. Partially drain the coolant.
2. Disconnect the sensor connection connector.
3. Unscrew or remove the sensors and remove the sealing ring.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Preheating system temperature sensors (2.4L diesel engines)
Removal
1. Partially drain the coolant.
2. Disconnect the sensor connection connector.
3. Unscrew or remove the sensors and remove the sealing ring.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
