Automatic headlight corrector 1. Front left vehicle level sensor "G78". Installation location: on the front left wheel suspension arm; 2. Executive electric motor of the left headlight corrector "V48"; 3. Executive electric motor of the right headlight corrector "V49"; 4. Used. Installation location: behind the air intake box. Vehicles without adaptive lighting: headlight range control unit "J431". Vehicles with adaptive lighting system (AFS): adaptive lighting and headlight range control unit "J745"; 5. Electrical plug connection; 6. Rear left vehicle level sensor "G76". Installation location: on the rear left wheel suspension arm


Removal of used "J431", "J745"



When replacing a used vehicle, select the "Replace" function of the corresponding used vehicle in the "Guided Fault Finding" or "Guided Functions" mode. Select the function or path: Vehicle brand - Engine code - 55 Dynamic headlight range control (with adaptive headlights (AFS)) J431 - 55 Replace used vehicle (repair gr. 94). Follow further instructions on the display of the diagnostic tester. Switch off the ignition. Remove the glove box. Unlock the "arrow" latches and remove the control unit "pos. 1" from the frame. Disconnect the electrical plug connection "2".
