The brake booster pressure sender -G294- is installed on the brake booster.
Removal
The brake vacuum pump -V192- cannot be repaired. If there is an error. Replace brake vacuum pump -V192-. Brake vacuum pump systems. V192 - installed in motor. compartment at the front left, next to the ABS hydraulic unit -N55-. Disconnect plug connector -1- and remove from retaining clip on bracket for brake vacuum pump -V192-. Disconnect vacuum hose -2- and remove from brake vacuum pump -V192-.
Do not break the vacuum hose. A damaged vacuum line must be replaced. Unscrew nuts -arrows- and remove brake vacuum pump -V192- -1- to the top.
Installation
Install brake vacuum pump -V192- -1 - onto holder.
Check that the brake vacuum pump is seated correctly on the holder. The vacuum line fitting is turned in the direction of travel. Secure brake vacuum pump -V192- using nuts -arrows- to the holder with a tightening torque of 8 Nm. Push the vacuum hose -2- onto the vacuum line fitting until it clicks into place. Insert plug connector -1- into bracket on brake vacuum pump holder -V192-.
