Removal
When dismantled, the foot rest is destroyed and must be replaced. Remove the driver's side front panel trim. Remove the driver's side front sill trim. Unfasten foot rest -1- using wedge -3409- -arrow- and remove.
Installation
Installation in reverse order: replace the footrest and ensure that the footrest is fully engaged in the mountings.
Removing the floor covering
Remove the front seats. Remove the rear seat. Remove the driver's side front panel trim. Remove the center console. Remove the center console bracket and lower the gearbox control lever. Remove the air duct from the rear of the central tunnel leading to the deflector in the center console. Remove the front sill trims. Remove the B pillar trim from below. Remove the rear sill trims. Unfasten floor covering from brackets -1- and -2-. Pull the floor covering -3- out backwards.
Make sure that the floor covering does not tear in the slots. Roll the floor covering lengthwise and take it out of the cabin through the door.
Installation
Roll the floor covering lengthwise and place it in the vehicle interior. First, move the floor covering forward so that the pattern of the holes in the air ducts and the gearbox control lever matches. Hang the floor covering onto the brackets -1- and -2-. Install in reverse order.
