Diagnostics of injection device faults (Audi A6 C5)

Before determining the malfunction based on the diagnostic readings, the following conditions must be met for control: control errors must be excluded during start-up. The rule applies to both a cold and a warm engine: do not press the accelerator pedal before and during start-up. When starting a hot engine, you can press the accelerator pedal a little after start-up.

The fuel tank is full, the mechanical part of the engine is in order, the battery is charged, the starter rotates at a sufficient speed, the ignition device is in order, there are no leaks in the fuel system, contamination in the fuel system is excluded, crankcase ventilation is in order, electrical connection to the "ground" (engine - gearbox - body) performed reliably. Remove the faults stored in the memory.

Caution: The fuel system is under pressure. When disconnecting fuel lines, place a thick rag underneath to catch any spilled fuel. Pre-flush fuel lines with cold cleaner.
