
Opening the fuel tank cap
- To open, press on the right side of the lid.
- Unscrew the filler cap by turning it counterclockwise.
- Place the unscrewed cap of the fuel tank filler neck onto the removed cover of the filler hatch.

Closing the fuel tank cap
- Tighten the cap of the tank neck by turning it clockwise until you hear it lock into place.
- Close the lid.
If the dispensing gun is used correctly, the fuel tank is "full" after the first automatic shutdown of the dispensing gun. After this, stop refueling, since otherwise the expansion space of the fuel tank will already be filled.
Information on the fuel used is provided on the sticker on the inside of the hinged cover.
The fuel tank capacity of front-wheel drive vehicles with a four- and six-cylinder engine is about 70 liters, and with an eight-cylinder engine about 82 liters. In this case, we are talking about approximate capacity.
Emergency release of the fuel filler flap
If the central locking system is faulty, the fuel filler flap can be unlocked manually.

- Open the trunk.
- Remove the right side trim of the trunk.
- To unlock the fuel filler cap, pull the loop in the direction of the arrow.
If the car is not equipped with side trim, it is necessary to pull down the felt cover located in the area of the right rear light trim.
