The security alarm is designed to prevent attempts to break into and steal a car. In the event of a break-in, the system starts to give sound and light alarm signals.

When the vehicle is locked, the system monitors the following objects:
  • underhood space;
  • trunk;
  • doors;
  • radio receiver, if the car is equipped with one at the factory;
  • salon;
  • starter.

The alarm system is automatically activated when the car is locked using a key inserted into any front door or boot lid, or using the central locking remote control, and deactivated when unlocked. The system enters guard mode approximately 30 seconds after the car is locked.

The activation of the system, as well as the closing of the doors, hood and trunk, is confirmed by a single flash of the direction indicators.

If the light signal is not given, then it is necessary to check and, if necessary, properly close the doors, hood and trunk. If such a check is carried out after activation of the system, it will confirm with a single flash of the direction indicators.

It is recommended that before leaving the car, you inspect the interior and make sure that all the locking buttons of the door lock switches are recessed. If this is not the case, then the procedure for locking the car must be repeated.

Attention! If the car is locked from the trunk lid lock and the driver's door is open, the security alarm will not be activated. It will only be activated after the driver's door is closed.

Security alarm switch with led light

After the car is locked, the LED lights of the security alarm system flash rapidly for about 30 seconds and then gradually switch to a slower flashing mode. This confirms that the security alarm system is in guard mode. If the LED lights are constantly on for 30 seconds instead of flashing, this indicates that the interior is not guarded.

Disabling interior security

The interior security system must be switched off, for example, when animals are left in the interior, the movement of which may trigger the security alarm. To switch off the interior security system, press the switch on the door pillar before closing and locking the doors. In this case, the LED lights on the switches light up for about 3 seconds.

The lights do not flash at an accelerated rate. They start flashing slowly only 30 seconds after the door is locked.
