1. Before installation, it is necessary to check the end and side clearances of the piston rings.

2. Install the upper compression ring into the cylinder using the piston.

3. Measure the ring end gap with a feeler gauge. If the gap is too small, replace the piston rings.

5. After checking and adjusting the end clearance, the rings can be installed on the pistons. In the picture - a mark on the top side of the piston ring.

6. The oil scraper ring is installed first. First install the expansion ring into the groove, then install the lower and upper oil scraper rings.

7. After installing all the oil scraper ring components, check that the upper and lower rings rotate freely.

8. Install the second compression ring with the mark facing up.

9. Then install the upper compression ring.
