All-season oils are used for AUDI engines. They have the advantage that they can be used in both winter and summer. All-season oils are based on seasonal oil (for example, 15W). Thanks to the so-called thickeners, the oil is stabilized in a hot state, so that under any operating mode it has the appropriate lubricating properties. If all-season oil is used, it is necessary to use modern ones that have a high viscosity grade (for example 15W-40, 15W-50).
The "W" designation in the SAE system indicates oil used in winter conditions.
