Removal
Remove the heat shield on the left side of the "arrow" fuel tank.
Unscrew the nuts "arrows" and remove the heat shield "2". Disconnect the additional muffler from both left mounting loops. Remove the heat shield "1". Reinstall the additional muffler. Attach the muffler immediately, do not leave it hanging, risk of damaging the connecting element.
Install the receiver under the bottom of the car. Remove fuel lines "3" and "4" by pressing the release button. Unscrew nut "5" on the bracket. Disconnect the clamp and slightly lower the filter. Remove the retainer "2" and remove the regulating valve with the connected lines. Reinstall the fuel lines from the old to the new fuel filter. Porous fuel lines are subject to replacement.
Installation
Installation in reverse order, taking into account the following: use clamps of the appropriate series to secure all hose connections. Fill the new fuel filter with clean diesel fuel, this will start the engine faster. When installing the regulating valve, pay attention to the O-ring in the filter housing. Carefully hang the retainer. The flow direction is indicated by arrows (do not mix up the connections). Start the engine and visually check the fuel system for leaks. Tightening torque: Filter bracket nut: 8 Nm.
