1. During the test drive, perform the following checks.

2. For the engine: power, misfires, idle speed, acceleration, hot start behavior.

3. For AT: selector lever positions, shift lock, ignition key removal lock, smoothness and serviceability of shifting, display readings.

4. For the brake pedal and parking brake: operation, pedal free play (no more than a third of the full stroke) and braking efficiency, sideways pull, vibration, grinding, ABS functions.

5. For steering: steering wheel centering, play.

6. For electrical equipment: radio reception and interference, operation of the horn, cruise control, panoramic roof mechanism, multifunctional instrument cluster display, MMI display.

7. For the climate control system: air supply, operation of the refrigeration unit.

8. For suspension and wheels: pulling to the side when driving on a road without a slope to the side of the road, noise from wheel bearings, imbalance of wheels, propeller shaft and drive shafts.
