Removal the neutral position sensor of the gearbox «G701» (Audi Q5-8R)

Only for cars with start-stop system. Remove rear noise insulation "2". Select 4th gear, for this point gearshift lever "2" forward "direction of arrow". Ignore pos. "1".



Disconnect the transmission neutral position sensor electrical connector "G701" "1".



Unscrew the bolt "arrow" and remove the neutral position sensor of the gearbox "G701" "A". The locking cover "B" is not removed.

Installation

Neutral position sensor of the gearbox "G701" "A" with a new sealing ring in the locking cover "B" of the shift shaft. Tighten the new bolts "arrow" to the prescribed tightening torque. Connect the connector of the neutral position sensor of the gearbox "G701". "1". Install noise insulation at the rear. Transmission neutral position sensor "G701": 10 Nm + 45°. Replace the screw.
