Removal the gear position sensor «F208» with the gearbox installed (Audi Q5-8R)

Remove the rear noise insulation "2". Disconnect the exhaust system by loosening the clamp "arrows". Tie the exhaust inlet pipe on the side with wire to the rear of the exhaust system (clamping sleeve).



Install the turntable stand with the mounted support of the gearbox "T10337" under the gearbox. Lift the gearbox slightly with the tipping device.



Unscrew the tunnel cross member "arrow" bolts.



Lower the CP with a tilter by the value "a". The value "a" = maximum 60 mm.





Disconnect the "arrow" electrical connector using the "T40138" puller and release the electrical wire. Unscrew the "F208" gear detection sensor from the shift shaft cover.

Installation

Screw the gear detection sensor "F208" into the shift shaft cover. Connect the connector to the gear detection sensor "F208". Ignore "pos. 1" and "pos. 3".



Screw on the crossmember of the tunnel "arrows". Assemble the exhaust system and align it without tension. Install noise insulation at the rear. Gear detection sensor "F208": 20 Nm.
