The air conditioner compressor bracket can be removed without opening the refrigerant circuit.
Removal
Remove the lower engine compartment splash shield.
Move the front engine compartment cross member to the service position.
Remove the poly V-belt. Unscrew the bolts securing the air conditioner compressor to the bracket and tie it to the body with soft wire without disconnecting the refrigerant lines from it.
Unscrew the bolts and remove the air conditioning compressor bracket.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
