Windscreen wiper and washer switch under the steering wheel

The windshield cleaning and washing system operates only when the ignition is on. The heating of the jets, if any, is switched on automatically when the ignition is switched on. In frosty weather, before switching on the windshield wipers, check that the brushes are not frozen.
  • 1 - single stroke of the brushes. To turn on the windshield wiper once, press the lever down
  • 0 - off
  • 2 - interval mode of brush stroke
  • 3 - normal mode
  • 4 - accelerated mode
  • 5 - automatic operation of the wiper and washer

When the switch lever is pulled toward the steering wheel, the windshield washer and wiper operates. When the headlights are on and the lever is held in this position, the headlight wiper/washer operates.
  • A - interval mode adjustment

The rear window wiper and washer are also turned on using the steering column switch. To do this, press it forward. The rear window wiper and washer switch has two positions. In position 1, the interval mode of the wiper stroke is turned on. The interval is approximately 6 seconds. To turn off the interval mode, the lever must be returned to its original position. In position 2, the lever should be held as needed; the wiper and washer will work simultaneously. When released, the wiper blade will work for approximately four more seconds.
