Removal



1. Remove the center console.

2. Remove the steering wheel.

3. Remove the instrument panel, combination switch and shelf.

4. Loosen the mounting screws (indicated by arrows) and remove the center panel.



5. Remove the ignition switch trim panel.

6. Loosen the center mount mounting screws.

7. Remove the side trim panels.

8. Unscrew the two mounting bolts (indicated by arrows) and remove the fuse box.

9. Disconnect the glove compartment light bulb connector and disconnect the relay connector.

10. On models with an air bag module, tighten the additional mounting nut.

11. Remove the remaining mounting bolts and remove the instrument panel.



Installation



Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
