Removal
Remove the cables from the frame together with the link guides in the rear direction.
Remove the remains of old grease from the guides of the sliding sunroof frame "1". Treat the guides with cleaner "D 009 401 D4".
Apply G 052 150 A2 grease to the guides using a small brush.
Installation
Treat the front guide of the gearshift lever "1" with grease G 052 150 A2 in the sliding areas "arrow".
Also treat the rear guide of the gearshift lever "2" with grease G 052 150 A2 in the sliding areas "arrow".
Stretch the front guide of the link "1" and place the cable in the frame of the sliding sunroof "2".
Using the sliders, install the front guide of the linkage "1" into the frame of the sliding sunroof "2" as shown in the figure. Move the guide completely forward.
Bring the guide "1" to the "Roof closed" "arrow" position and lock it in this position.
Install the rear guide of the linkage "1" into the frame of the sliding sunroof "2" as shown in the figure.
Insert guide "1" into the sliding sunroof frame.
Using a screwdriver, fix the guide "1" in the direction of the arrow.
