Equipment for connecting a mobile phone (CAN)
The transmitter/receiver unit of the telephone "R36" is connected to the infotainment system (radio) via the CAN-BUS. It also has an antenna for Bluetooth "R152". Control is via the radio "R" or the mobile telephone "R54". The microphones of the microphone unit of the front roof module "R164" are built into the front light "W1". One of the microphones (front left microphone "R140") is connected to the transmitter/receiver unit of the telephone "R36".
Set for connecting a mobile phone to the communications electronics control unit 1 "J794" (MMI)
Control is via the MMI infotainment center or the mobile radio telephone "R54". The microphones of the microphone unit of the front roof module "R164" are built into the front courtesy light "W1". Of these, 1 microphone (front left microphone "R140") is connected to the used information electronics 1 "J794".
Bluetooth hands-free device in the communications electronics control unit 1 "J794" (MMI)
Used electronic communications 1 "J794" is installed with the microphone unit in the front roof module "R164" and is used as a hands-free device. The connection with the mobile phone "R54" is made exclusively via Bluetooth. The antenna for Bluetooth "R152" is built into the control unit of electronic communications 1 "J794".
Bluetooth Hands-free Device (CAN)
The R36 telephone transceiver with microphone unit in the front roof module "P164-/antenna" for Bluetooth "R152" is installed and serves exclusively as a hands-free device. The connection with the R54 mobile telephone is made exclusively via Bluetooth. The antenna for Bluetooth "R152" is connected to the R36 telephone transceiver. Troubleshooting is carried out in the "Guided Fault Finding" mode.
Bluetooth Technology Guidelines
Bluetooth technology uses a standardized radio connection for data transmission between the transceiver of the telephone "36" / used communication electronics 1 "J794" and the mobile telephone "R54" Bluetooth technology. In the transceiver of the telephone "36" / control unit of the communication electronics 1 "J794" there is an additional transceiver unit. The antenna for Bluetooth "R152", the transceiver of the telephone "36" / control unit of the communication electronics 1 "J794" and the mobile telephone "R54" have a wireless connection. The radio communication radius is approx. 10 meters.
