Small middle pipe of cooling system of petrol engine 2.8 l



Removal



Drain the coolant.

Take it off intake manifold.

Loosen the clamp and remove the hose from the rear of the middle coolant pipe (Fig. 7–10).

Unscrew bolt 1 securing the middle pipe of the cooling system to the cylinder block.

Remove the middle coolant pipe from the cylinder block opening and remove it.

Installation



Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the following.

Clean the sealing ring seat before installation.

When installing, it is necessary to use a new sealing ring, having previously lubricated it with anti-corrosion agent G12.

Slide the pipe into the cylinder block hole and secure it with a bolt.

Install intake manifold.

Fill with coolant.

Right middle pipe of the cooling system of the 2.8 L petrol engine



Removal



Drain the coolant.

Take it off intake manifold.

Take it off intake manifold.

Loosen the clamps and remove the hoses from the middle pipe of the cooling system (Fig. 7–11).

Unscrew bolt 3 securing the cooling system pipe to the cylinder block.

Loosen the clamps and remove the hoses leading to the heat exchanger from the middle pipe.



Loosen the clamp and remove the hose from the middle pipe that goes to the expansion tank.

Loosen the clamp and remove the hose from the middle pipe that goes to the expansion tank.

Disconnect the electrical connector from the coolant temperature sensor (Fig. 7–12).

Release the coolant system middle pipe clamps and move them to the side.

Unscrew the bolts (see Fig. 7–13) securing the flanges of the middle pipe, remove the middle pipe of the cooling system from the hole in the cylinder block and remove it.

Installation
