Removal



Warning: To prevent the water pump pulley from turning, use special tool 3212.


Drain the coolant.

Remove the poly V-belt.

Unscrew the bolt while holding the water pump pulley from turning with special tool 3212 and remove the pulley

Loosen the timing belt tension and remove it from the camshaft pulley. Cover the timing belt with polyethylene to protect it from coolant.

Unscrew the bolts and remove the water pump (Fig. 7–8).

Installation



Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the following.

When installing, replace all gaskets and sealing rings with new ones.

Install the timing belt.

Fill with coolant.
