Removal
Remove the windshield wiper arm. Disconnect the washer hose 3-. If present, disconnect the connectors "4" and "5" of the heated nozzles. Loosen the clamp for the hose "6" using the pliers for hose clamps "V.A.G 1921" and remove the water drain hose from the fairing grille. Remove the rubber seal "1" from the fairing grille.
To prevent the fairing grille "2" from splitting when removing it, it is necessary to lightly lubricate the transition between the windshield and the fairing grille with a soap solution and remove the fairing grille, starting from the edge of the glass, in a vertically upward direction.
Remove the fairing grille "2". Release the washer hose. Unclip the nozzle from the fairing grille "arrow". The figure shows this operation with the windshield wiper arm installed. Disconnect the washer fluid line from the nozzle. If there is a plug connector for the nozzle heater, disconnect it.
Installation
Installation is in the reverse order. When installing the water hose, make sure that it clicks into the nozzle connector. Insert the nozzle into the fairing grille. The oval hole "arrow" for the individual nozzle should face outward from the car. Adjust the windshield wiper arm.
