The following working steps apply to normal and sport seats. Please note the different part numbers in the spare parts catalogue.

1. Upholstery. Remove the seat. Disconnect the seat heating connector «2» from the bracket (1x).…

1. Upholstery. Remove the seat. Disconnect the seat heating connector "2" from the bracket (1x). Remove the seat base. Press the upholstery clamping strip out of the guide shaft. Lift the upholstery "1" and cut the wire staples "3" "A". Remove the cushion. Use staple pliers to install new wire staples "V.A.G 1634/". For more convenient installation, move the longitudinal rods back to the first cross rod. When installing, fasten the cross rods first with clamps, then the longitudinal rods

5. Seat heating. Seat back heater and upholstery, spare part. On cars with seat heating, the upholstery should not be changed. On cars without seat back heater, cable "4" should be cut.
