Turn off ignition. Remove engine cover. Clean glow plug channel in cylinder head (dirt should not get into the cylinder). Example of cleaning: remove heavy dirt with a vacuum cleaner. Spray brake cleaner or another suitable cleaner into the glow plug bore, leave it for a short time and blow it out with compressed air. Clean the glow plug bore with a rag soaked in oil. Open the fastening brackets of the wire harness and disconnect the electrical plug connections from the glow plugs. Mount the vice "3314" with the recess "arrow A" to the flange on the support sleeve "arrow B" and disconnect the plugs from the glow plugs. Make sure that when disconnecting the glow plug plug the electrical wiring is not damaged, otherwise it must be completely replaced. Do not squeeze the pliers "3314" when disconnecting the glow plug plugs, otherwise the support sleeve may be damaged. To remove the glow plugs, use a 10" 3220" socket wrench.
