Removal the cigarette lighter illumination lamp "L28"
Turn off the ignition. Remove the front ashtray. Remove the cover "1" above the cigarette lighter illumination lamp "L28" "arrows".
Using a thin screwdriver "1", carefully move the cigarette lighter illumination lamp "L28" "Pos. 3" in the direction of arrow "B" away from the cigarette lighter "U1" "Pos. 2".
Installation
Installation in reverse order: install the front ashtray.
Removal the cigarette lighter "U1"
Turn off ignition. Install cigarette lighter illumination lamp "L28". Jaws "2" of tool "T40148" should enter the holes of screwdriver "3" "arrow", for this it is necessary to move threaded rod "1" down to the stop.
Insert the "T40148" puller into the cigarette lighter "1" until it stops. Rotate the notched wheel "2" in the "T40148" puller clockwise until it stops.
Piston "2" is pulled upwards, and tongues "1" in the puller "T40148" are moved apart "arrows". Remove the cigarette lighter with the puller "T40148" from the backlight ring.
Unlock the fastening brackets "arrows". Remove the cigarette lighter with the illumination ring "1" from the front ashtray "2".
Installation
Reverse installation: Risk of injury! After removing the puller "T40148", check whether the fastening strips of the cigarette lighter are bent. If the strips are bent, bend them back so that the cigarette lighter cannot jump out. Remove the stop "1" of the puller "T40148". Push the piston back and hold it in this position. Turn the wheel with the notch "4" on the puller "T40148" counterclockwise "arrow", while the tabs "2" are pressed away from the cigarette lighter "3", which allows you to remove the puller "T40148".
Removal the backlight lamp of the socket "L42". Socket 12 "B-U5"
Turn off the ignition. Remove the center console. Disconnect the electrical wire from the "arrow" mount.
The jaws "2" of the "T40148" tool must enter the holes of the fastener "3" "arrow", to do this it is necessary to move the threaded rod "1" all the way down.
Open the cover "1" of the 12 V socket and hold it in this position. Insert the puller "T40148" into the 12 V socket until it stops. Rotate the wheel with the notch "2" in the puller "T40148" clockwise until it stops.
Piston "2" is pulled upwards, and tongues "1" in puller "T40148" move apart "arrows". Remove 12 V socket with puller "T40148" from the illumination ring with lamp for illumination of socket "L42". Disconnect el. plug connection.
Unlock the "arrow" fastening brackets. Remove the illumination ring "1" with the socket illumination lamp "L42" from the storage compartment "2" of the central console.
Installation
Installation in reverse order: remove the stop "1" of the puller "T40148". Push the piston back and hold it in this position. Rotate the knurled wheel "4" of the puller "T40148" counterclockwise "arrow", while the locking tabs "2" on the 12 V socket "3" are released and the puller "T40148" can be removed. Install the center console.
Removal the 2 x 12V "U18" socket
Turn off the ignition. The tongues "2" of the puller "T40148" should enter the grooves of the 12 V socket "3" "arrow", for this the threaded rod "1" must be moved down to the stop.
Open the cover "2" of the 12 V socket and hold it in this position. Push the puller "T40148" until it stops in the 12 V socket "3". Rotate the wheel with the notch "1" in the puller "T40148" clockwise until it stops.
Piston "2" is pulled upwards, and tongues "1" in puller "T40148" are moved apart "arrows". Remove 12 V socket with puller "T40148" from the illumination ring with lamp for illumination of socket "L42". Disconnect el. plug connection.
Installation
Installation in reverse order: remove the stop "1" of the puller "T40148". Push the piston back and hold it in this position. Rotate the knurled wheel "4" of the puller "T40148" counterclockwise "arrow", while the locking tabs "2" on the 12 V socket "3" are released and the puller "T40148" can be removed.
Removal the 3 to 12 V socket "U19"
Switch off the ignition. Switch off the ignition. Open the cover "4" of the right side trim of the trunk "arrow". Disconnect the electrical plug connection "3". Unscrew the nut "1". Remove the 12 V plug socket "2" from the casing of the right side trim of the trunk.
Installation in reverse order.
Replacing the 312V "U19" socket
Switch off ignition. Open the right side trim of the trunk. Disconnect the electrical plug connection. The tongues "2" of the puller "T40148" must enter the grooves of the socket (12 V) "3" "arrow", for this the thread of the rod "1" must be moved down to the stop.
Open the cover of the fastening "2" and fix it in this position. Push the puller "T40148" until it stops in the 12 V socket "3". Rotate the wheel with the notch "1" in the puller "T40148" clockwise until it stops.
Installation
Installation in reverse order: remove the stop "1" of the puller "T40148". Push the piston back and hold pro in this position. Rotate the knurled wheel "4" of the puller "T40148" counterclockwise "arrow", while the locking tabs "2" on the 12 V socket "3" are released and the puller "T40148" can be removed.
