Drain the coolant.

Loosen the screws and remove the engine casing (see Fig. 3.3–24).

Unscrew the bolts and remove the heat shield above the turbocharger (see Fig. 3.3–4).

Remove the front air ducts (see Fig. 3.3–25).

Loosen the clamps and remove the air duct from the air filter.

Loosen the clamps, unscrew the bolts and remove the air duct from the turbocharger and air cooler (Fig. 7–22).

Disconnect the electrical connectors from the left side of the coolant pipe.

Loosen the clamp and disconnect the rear section of the coolant pipe.

Disconnect the front auxiliary heater coolant pipe from the coolant pipe.

Unscrew the bolt securing the cooling system pipe to the intermediate element of the turbocharger.

Unscrew the bolt securing the cooling system pipe to the intermediate element of the turbocharger.

Unscrew the bolts securing the right section of the cooling system pipe to the cylinder head, turn the pipe upward and remove it from the engine (Fig. 7–23).

Installation



Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.

Fill the cooling system with coolant.
