1. Driver/passenger side airbag. Disconnect the negative terminal/battery cable. Open the seat back trim. Unscrew the nuts "3" (3 pcs.). Disconnect the Airbag cable "2" from the seat. When installing a new seat back trim, cut out the trim for the side Airbag
2. Side Airbag cable
3. Nuts (3 pcs.), tightening torque 4 Nm


Instructions: Removal and installation of the contact ring assembly must be carried out in the middle position of the steering wheel (the front wheels are in a position corresponding to straight-line movement). The return ring with the contact ring, as a new part, is fixed in the middle position with a plastic clamp or a cut-off ring. For vehicles with an ESP sensor in the return ring with the contact ring, it is necessary to align the ESP sensor.
