Table of contents: The most important terminals ↓ Designations of cross-section and… ↓ Color coding of compact fuses ↓ Color coding of maxi fuses ↓ Designations on diagrams ↓
Note: Due to the wide range of configuration options for the vehicles in question, only the wiring diagrams for the basic equipment of models from 06.2008 are provided below.

The most important terminals

Terminal 15 - (Ignition switch "ON" position) Receives power only when the ignition is on, and in addition to the ignition/injection system, it supplies current to those electrical consumers that should receive current only during vehicle operation. The wires to terminals 15 in most cases have green insulation, sometimes with an additional colored stripe.

Terminal 30 - Receives direct current from the battery positive or from the generator when the engine is running. These wires, which are always energized, are in most cases red in color, sometimes with additional colored stripes.

Terminal 31 - ("-" battery) Leads to ground. The wires are usually black.

Terminal 49 - Refers to the system of intermittent and emergency light signals.

Terminal 53 - This supplies voltage to the windshield wipers.

Terminal 56 - Through it, voltage is supplied to the low beam lamps via the yellow and yellow-black wires, as well as to the high beam lamps via the white and white-black wires. Terminals 58 supply voltage to the parking lights and license plate lighting. The main color of the wire sheath is gray, sometimes with an additional color stripe.

Terminal 75 - Ignition switch terminal, receives voltage when the ignition key is in the "Start" position.

Terminal X - Energized when the ignition key is turned from the "LOCK" position to the "OFF" position and de-energized when the key is turned to the "START" position.

Designations of cross-section and color of wire insulation

The wire designation on the diagrams consists of three parts and has the form 1.5 bl/gn.

The first part (1.5) indicates the cross-section of the wire (mm²); the second/third parts (bl/gn) mean the main color/color of the wire insulation stripe:
  • ws - white
  • sw - black
  • ro - red
  • br - brown
  • gn - green
  • bl - blue
  • gr - gray
  • li - purple
  • ge - yellow
  • or - orange
  • rs - pink

Color coding of compact fuses

  • 3A - purple
  • 5A - beige or light brown
  • 7.5A - brown
  • 10A - red
  • 15A - blue
  • 20A - yellow
  • 25A - white or transparent
  • Z0A - green
  • 35A - green-blue
  • 40A - orange
  • 50A - red

Color coding of maxi fuses

  • 30A - orange
  • 40A - green
  • 50A - red
  • 60A - yellow
  • 70A - brown
  • 80A - white
  • 100A - blue
  • 125A - pink
  • 150A - gray
  • 200A - purple
