Removal the ATF pan (Audi Q5-8R)

Remove the subframe cross braces. Risk of damage to chassis components. If the unit support, steering gear or subframe cross brace is not properly mounted, the vehicle cannot be placed on its wheels.



Drain the ATF. Risk of damage to the gearbox. Do not start the engine if there is no ATF in the gearbox. Loosen the bolts "1...15-cross" crosswise. Remove the ATF oil pan. Ignore the "arrows".

Installation

Installation in reverse order. Replace bolts and ATF pan gasket. Clean sealing surfaces. Insert thickening "arrow" of new gasket "2" into ATF pan "1". If present, secure gasket with clamps "3" to ATF pan.



Clean the "arrow" magnets in the ATF pan. The magnets must be fully seated on the ATF pan.





Fill with ATF.
